The gospel plan is our ticket back to live with our Heavenly Father throughout all eternity. Once we catch the vision of the power of the Atonement, our lives will never be the same and we will want to do all that the Lord requires of us. He has given all that He has; He has given His Son Jesus Christ.

I THINK MY TROUBLE IS THAT THE LORDS ‘SMALL MOMENT’ IS A VERY LONG MOMENT FOR ME, I’M TRYING TO RELIZE THAT NO MATTER HOW LONG I GO THOUGH THINGS THAT THE LORD IS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME, AND I NEED TO ENDURE ALL THINGS WELL.

I think what Elder Scott is saying is that we need to realize our full potential and to discover who we really are.

I feel that I haven’t accomplished much in my life, not lived up to the potential that I showed in my younger years. This quote reminds me to learn from the past but not dwell on it. To do the things I can do in the best way I know how with an attitude of gratitude and hope in Christ. Sharing my meager talents and experiences with others so that their lives might be made better for the lessons I have learned.

Forgiving yourself is one of the hardest things to do in this life and yet one of the most essential. How can someone truly believe that Christ can forgive them when they can’t let go of their burdens and forgive themselves? Until we can do this we can’t really have the quality of life, the greatness of which President Kimball speaks. The way we live truly will impact the world now and far into the future.

Wow!!!! I needed this so much. It’s true tho. We only make it harder for ourselves when the way is so easy. He has shown us the way…why make it any harder?
