Dr. Glenn I. Latham
Dr. Glenn I. Latham is a Professor Emeritus of Education at Utah State University in Logan, Utah, and is a behavior analyst. His professional interests are in research and training in child and adolescent behavior, with an emphasis on improving behavior in the home and classroom through parent and teacher training.

Dr. Latham's consultative services are in demand worldwide. Local, national, and international school systems seek his professional instruction.

In 1998, he conducted 147 regular training seminars for parents, corporate and government personnel, and educators nationally and internationally.

Dr. Latham has received numerous awards in recognition of his service in the field of education and behavior analysis. Most recently, he was awarded the annual Public Service award by the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis in recognition of his contribution to that State's efforts to improve services to children and families.

He and his wife, Louise, have 6 children, 19 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Dr. Latham's educational degrees include:

B.S. from the University of Utah in Elementary Education; 1960

M.S. from the University of Utah in Special Education; 1965

Ed.D. from Utah State University in Special Education, with minors in Educational Psychology and Technology; 1971

Currently, Dr. Latham is the Principle Investigator at Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center providing technical assistance in educating students with disabilities to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Colorado, Kansas, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. He is also a teacher, consultant, and advisor nationally and internationally.

Dr. Latham has developed and continues to develop principal products and systems at the Latham Institute, which he co-founded and where he serves as the chairman.

Other professional positions he has held and related experience include:

Director at the Division of Technical Assistance, Developmental Center for Handicapped Persons at Utah State University; 1980-1995

Director of the Division of Research and Evaluation at the Exceptional Child Center at Utah State University; 1974-1977

Evaluation and Research Specialist and Assistant Professor of Education at Northwest Regional Special Education Instructional Materials Center at the University of Oregon; 1971-1975

Author or co-author of over 250 technical research papers, reports, journal articles, presentations, books, and chapters in books relating to behavior management in schools and at home
